  • Abstract
    This paper presents the combined effect of two of the most challenging problems of low light: auto-focus (AF) error and how it impacts on automatic red-eye removal algorithms. We propose an algorithm to overcome the issues which consists of understanding the level of blur in the input image and simulation of the Bokeh effect on the corrected pixels. The algorithm is designed to avoid complex computations which cannot run in embedded devices such as digital cameras.
