Design and implementation of a real estate mapping system based on GIS

This article describes the differences between the traditional real estate surveying and the GIS based real estate surveying, where the application significance of GIS in the real estate surveying information system is also introduced. Moreover, a real estate surveying system which is mainly composed of the real estate project surveying subsystem, the real estate basic surveying subsystem and the surveying results storage management subsystem are discussed in detail, where the functions realized by every subsystem are also introduced. The real estate surveying runs through the whole process of the real estate activities, such as property rights administration, trading, development and removal, signifying its important role in the real estate market information management system.
