Abstract
With the continuing advancement of electronic systems, remote control on pole-mounted breakers and other pole-mounted devices is now cost-justifiable. The authors outline the special challenges, the solution, and the cost justification of such a telecontrol system using pole-mounted remote terminal units. Specific attention is given to the Sentinel telecontrol system
