Abstract
An original superior-order curvature-corrected voltage reference will be presented. In order to improve the temperature behavior of the circuit, both linear and superior-order curvature-corrections will be implemented. The linear correction is realized using an OVF (Offset Voltage Follower) block, while the superior-order correction is implemented considering a transfer cell for additionally improving the circuit thermal performances. The voltage reference structure presents an extremely low temperature coefficient, being characterized by a low-voltage low-power operation. SPICE simulation confirms the theoretical estimated results, showing a temperature coefficient under 11ppm / K for an extended input range 223K <; T <; 423K and for a supply voltage of 1.8V and a current consumption of about 1μA.
