Abstract :
This paper present a nonlinear state space model of a typical carriage for demand controlled ventilation (DCV).a novel Direct feedback linear (DFL) control method of controlling CO2 concentration in carriage is introduced to linearize model of DCV system. Then a linear inputñoutput model is obtained. Simulation comparison between the performance of conventional PID and the novel DFL method is made based on SIMLINK. The results show that DFL control method outperforms better than conventional PID control system in celerity, stability and other aspects. Also the maintaining energy optimal performance is demonstrated by this methodology.
