Abstract :
Curve minor adjustment method based on interactive control vertex gauge is proposed for meeting requirements of design of A-class surface for the weaknesses in traditional constructive method of characteristic curve. With this method, the interactive adjoining of control vertex of curve will keep the shape of polygon basically coincide consistent with the trend of space data points and ensure maximized fairing of curve. Calculation of interative minor adjustment of the control vertex will ensure optimal approximation of the characteristic curve with the data points set. The actual application in vehicle reverse modeling shows that the interative method can correctly and effectively use A-class surface characteristic curve requiring high interactive construction precision and fairing and has great prospects.
