  • Abstract
    In multi-agent system, intelligent agents may send or refuse messages with reasons. This is known as argumentation based communication. This paper first introduces the argumentation model and its algorithms, and then studies the mechanism of argumentation in multi-agent system, including argument encapsulation with message, argument extraction from message, and the protocol of communication. We implement a multi-agent argumentation system in JADE, and use an example to deduce the process of argumentation. The result shows that the agent´s belief can be revised properly.
