Abstract :
This paper is a sequel to Modeling Software Maturity: a Life Cycle Management Approach. While the life cycle management approach has put the emphasis in static analysis, the knowledge accumulation and continuous improvement approach in this paper brings our attention to the most important stages in a software life cycle. I.e., the education is the key modeling stage in software development process to ensure software success. Further, the continuous learning and the continuous improvement is the extension of the education model to ensure the successful software having longevity. The comparison between human beings´ maturity process and software development process is used as analogy to illuminate the insights about the nature of software in order for software development teams to be conscientiously thinking about the quality of software and the productivity in their software development.
