Abstract :
In order to solve capacity increasing of solar power system and the system´s paralysis caused by the failure of host controller, a new controller was designed in this paper. Control system adopted two-level architecture which consisted of host controller and power modules. CAN bus technology was used for communication. It was easy to form solar power system of different capacities through combination of multiple power modules. When the host controller was bad, the first power module could be used as host controller to ensure the normal operation of the system. Prototyping had been made and had passed through high-low temperature test. Verification test was conducted in simulated environment. Experimental results show that the scheme is right and feasible.
