Abstract :
The slab reheating in furnace can be modeled in the form of a partial differential equation. Artificial Neural Network based solutions are suggested as alternatives to numerical techniques. A trial solution of the differential equation is formed by embedding into it the boundary conditions. Then the network is trained to satisfy the differential equation. Simulated results are provided.
