Abstract :
The unified Modeling Language -Real Time (UML-RT) is a modeling Software -real time intensive systems. A real time system is any system that responds and acts in a timely manner. Thus time is a resource of fundamental concern and activities must be scheduled and executed to meet their timely requirements. Real time systems are often confronted with a need for concurrent execution activities to fulfill these constraints. By means of a case study we investigate how object-oriented methodologies and in particular UML-RT support the modeling of real-time systems. Our main contribution is to control the state of the signal lights for a four road intersection in a real time manner.
