  • Abstract
    IEEE Std 1458trade-2005 is a new Recommended Practice that, for the first time, provides in one document the information that is necessary to select, apply, and maintain (determine the remaining life of) molded case circuit breakers. The document also provides information on the basics of circuit breaker design, and presents a detailed procedure to determine when molded case circuit breakers must be replaced.
