  • Abstract
    A new compact dual-frequency band hybrid resonator antenna, consisting of a thin circular disk dielectric resonator and a T-shaped microstrip feed line, has been demonstrated numerically and experimentally. In the proposed design, the microstrip line simultaneously performs the functions of a half-wavelength radiator and as a feed for the DR. By optimizing the structure parameters, the proposed antenna was designed to offer the two resonant frequency bands centered at 1.9 GHz and 2.54 GHz.
