Abstract :
This paper describes the animation of calculated surface acoustic wave fields under a periodic metallic grating. The calculated data of the field distribution are animated by displaying them successively at a specific time interval. This sort of functions helps us to visually understand SAW scattering process and may reveal physics underlying the scattering process. Because of the rapid progress in computer technologies, low-end personal computers are now sufficient to display the animation
