Abstract :
A novel antenna concept for DTH (direct to home) reception contains a parabolic reflector and a LNB (low noise block converter) in microstrip technology. The horn of the conventional LNB is replaced by a microstrip antenna. This contribution concentrates on the design and realisation of broadband proximity-coupled antennas for dual linear polarisation at 12 GHz. The simulated bandwidth of 22% was proved by measurement.
