  • Abstract
    This paper describes a frequency-programmable ultra-low noise exciter that generates X-band frequencies over a 7% band with 0.1 Hz resolution. The equipment is used as a laboratory reference source, measuring the noise of conventional low noise X-band sources and noise measurement equipment
