Abstract :
Based on the Transmission Line Method (TLM), the induced current and voltage of cables in vehicles under the condition of high power electromagnetic pulse (EMP) are discussed in this paper. The analysis includes the position of cables, the type of cables and spacing of cables. The simulation results show that the cables should be close to the chassis in the design and the terminal of cables should avoid being open circuit. The appropriate spacing between cables should selected according to concrete conditions and the device requirements of vehicle.
