Abstract
An expert system for preparing a finished diagnosis of learning disabilities is proposed. The system is a combination of rule-based and distributed memory systems. The system input is the raw score data from a norm referenced diagnostic test. A ruled-based system extracts information on the presence of specific symptoms from the raw data. Symptoms are used by a parallel, distributed memory to determine what learning disabilities are present. The system generates a written report. The system and test results are described
