Abstract :
The development of a Wideband Agile Transversal Filter is made possible by the use of dual gate GaAs FET transistor arrays. The transversal filter design has a bandwidth of greater than 2.0 GHz and the filter transfer function can be changed in less than 10 nanoseconds. The design has been configured in a four section block that can be cascaded to obtain multiple delay functions and thus very complex filter transfer functions.
