Abstract :
State-of the art muli-port receiver and transmitter are presented and discussed in this paper. Multi-port circuits are used for microwave/millimeter-wave direct modulation and demodulation, down-conversion, and to built phased antenna arrays, as a low-cost alternative to the conventional transceiver architectures. Multi-ports allow complete integration of millimeter-wave circuits including antennas in planar technology, improving the overall transceiver performances.
