Risk management in engineering projects: an owner-operator´s view

The authors describe how it is clear that experience, judgement and intuition all need to play a role in assessing and managing risks. But it is also becoming more evident that to get the best out of these skills, one needs to harness them within formal, structured processes; with a clear commitment at the highest levels in the organisation to make them work.
