Abstract :
A programmable wavelength selective 2 × 2 fiber-optic switch structure is proposed by incorporating the independent control and alignment of the off-the-shelf thin film filter with the reflective optical element. Optical loss of < 1.30 dB and a low polarization dependent loss of < 0.07 dB are measured.
