  • Abstract
    To reduce the torque ripple in direct torque control(DTC) for induction motor(IM) control, this paper presents an improved method- implementing the space vector modulation in DTC control. A test platform comprises an IM capable of the electronic emulation of electric vehicle´s dynamic is presented. A detailed description of the control structure employed to create the load emulation is developed. Both the simulation and test on the platform shown that the torpue ripple reduced considerably.
