Abstract :
The binding reaction of the Copper(II) Complex [Cu2C14(C17H22N2)2] with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by UV absorption spectroscopy under the simulative physiological conditions. The binding constants were 6.67×104, 5.61×104 and 3.79×104 L·mol-1 at 291K, 298 K and 305K respectively. The thermodynamic parameters ΔH, ΔS and ΔG were calculated at different temperatures, and the result showed that hydrogen bonds and Van der Waals are two main reactions between Copper(II) Complex and BSA.
