Abstract :
In this paper, a system is developed which is implemented using PLC to automate the control of source changeover scheme in a Thermal Power Plant. In Thermal power plants, Fuel handling in the form of keeping good stock and supplying the same to the plant Boilers is a challenging task. For carrying out these tasks, electrical power is required to run conveyors for fuel transport from and to various points inside the plant.
