Abstract
Cone-Beam CT is a popular intra-operative 3D imaging in orthopaedic surgery. CBCT 3D imaging is based on precise isocenter movement of C-arm. Low-end C-arm X-ray machines generally do not satisfy this requirement. In this paper a simple method based on dedicated phantom and compute vision principle is given. The phantom is designed so that its projection onto images is unique and can be easily detected, the detected markers in image are then transformed to iso-center image. In this way, when patient body is scanned with this phantom, 3D image can be get by popular CBCT image reconstruction method. Experiments show that the precision is small enough for image guided surgery.
