  • Abstract
Due to the progress of information technology, the business strategy is changing for a modern online environment. Autonomous decentralized database system is proposed to meet the e-business requirements. Allowable volume (AV) enables asynchronous local updating in the system. AV also allows for flexible timely provision of services with circulating among sites. However, AV shortage may block circulation and cause a decrease in response time. In the system supplied of multiple fungible services, it allows both increase of the timeliness and decrease of the satisfaction requirement to assign alternative services. The satisfaction requirement means that each site offers products of user´s desire to as many users as possible. A trade-off exists between these properties. In order to adjust an allocation of AV among sites, a coordination technology composed of two techniques through mobile agent (MA) is proposed. Autonomous relocation technique detects partial AV shortage, collects and circulates it with using MA. Autonomous guarantee technique increases the properties by MA´s exchanging fungible services reserved. Effectiveness reducing losses to timeliness and satisfaction has been confirmed by simulation.
