Abstract :
The results of presented experiments show, that the spatial infrastructure of a visually sensitive neuron receptive field (RF) undergoes certain restructuring related to the visual stimuli used. In the majority of cases the RF discharge centers change their number and their spatial localization within the RF depending on the motion direction, contrast and the magnitude of applied moving stimuli. A suggestion was put forward concerning the role of the temporary activation of neighbour neurons, excited by moving stimuli traversing their RFs during the motion.
