  • Abstract
    The basic principle of early fast earthquake disaster and loss assessment is introduced in the paper. Then the main functions and software development based on GIS and database management to perform the fast assessment is described. As an example shown in the paper, the system, applied to the Shandong province, North China, proofs to be useful in practice.
