Abstract :
Gray-tracking susceptibility of GdxY1-xCa4O(BO3)3 (GdYCOB) was investigated by measuring a change in optical transmission at 355 nm. Crystals grown from high-quality sintered materials possess higher damage tolerance than conventional ones.
