Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. The reductive perturbation method was used to study the propagation characteristics of an ion acoustic cnoidal wave in a collisionless plasma consisting of warm ions and two Maxwellian electrons at different temperatures. The coupled equations governing the first- and second-order perturbed potential were derived using appropriate boundary conditions, and solutions were obtained. Taking the corrections up to second order. the effects of finite ion temperature and the presence of colder electron components on phase velocity and nonlinear ion flux were examined as a function of the amplitude of the cnoidal wave
