  • Abstract
    With the emergence of increasingly complex and diverse hybrid memory architectures, memory management becomes an essential problem of embedded systems. We propose a graph-based benchmark suite, G3MBench, specifically for memory management on micro controllers. The benchmarks in G3MBench are generated from practical embedded applications. We use control flow graph to carry out program information. Two different graph formats of G3MBench are provided. One is tgff format, the other is dot format. Both the tgff format and the dot format are free to all researchers. Compared to MiBench and UTDSP, G3MBench has more variation in code size, functions, basic blocks and variables. The comparison also shows that G3MBench is more appropriate for micro controllers than MiBench and UTDSP.
