Abstract :
Attention to Bragg structures is caused by the richness of physical effects that can be observed in them: wave reflection, mode conversion, coupling of surface and space waves. Additional variety of effects is realized if parameter perturbation is not periodic. In the present work two-dimensional waveguide structure nonperiodically inhomogeneous along a radial coordinate is considered. Permittivity is assumed to be present in the form of a sum of sinusoidal spatially oscillated harmonics of perturbation. Amplitude and wavenumber of each harmonic vary smoothly along the radial coordinate
