Abstract :
Summary form only given. New types of high Tc superconducting antennas were investigated for detecting electromagnetic waves and magnetic fluctuations. The superconducting antennas were thin-film, thick-film, and bulk types. The generation and the increase of the resistance of the superconductor were observed under the application of an alternating magnetic field and an electromagnetic wave (microwave). These resistances were easily controlled with DC current in the superconductor and the application of a DC magnetic field. These effects are more sensitive for thin- and thick-film superconducting antennas. In other words, measurements of the resistance of the high Tc superconductors can confirm the detection of the arriving electromagnetic waves and magnetic fluctuations. The application of the DC current to the superconductor can easily control the detection level of the arriving electromagnetic waves
