Abstract
The IDTs of the synchronous two port resonator are integral parts of the short circuited reflectors. Therefore we have only two regions of different SAW velocities: between reflectors and inside them. The transfer function, derived by the scattering matrix method for the nonsynchronous resonator, was adapted to the synchronous one. SAW parameters can be evaluated by comparing the measured and calculated transfer functions of the resonator. Calculations and measurements are presented for the 45°XZ cut of lithium tetraborate (Li2B 4O7) crystal
