Abstract :
This paper presented a new fault diagnosis method for gearbox using fuzzy mathematics theory. Based on the established fuzzy diagnosis mathematics model for gearbox abnormal sound and by means of test hardware of sensors, signal conditioner, data acquisition card and programme software of NI LabVIEW, we developed vibration test system of gearbox, presented vibration test project and expounded the method of obtaining fuzzy relation matrix and pattern vector to be tested for gearbox abnormal sound. Through testing and analyzing familiar gearbox abnormal sound of a light vehicle, the diagnosis result using fuzzy mathematics model proves that the established method of fuzzy diagnosis for gearbox abnormal sound is feasible.
