Abstract
Analog microwave fiber optic communication links have the potential to replace coaxial systems for transmission of RF signals at frequencies up to 15 GHz and beyond. Potential applications include antenna remoting, distribution networks, and ccmmnications. At TRW, prototype bandpass RF fiber optic links have been constructed with center frequencies up to 5 GHz. The performance of these links will be discussed.
