Abstract :
Self-inverting exhaust muffler is an active control muffler based on acoustic interference principle. Compared with the passive exhaust muffler, the exhaust resistance of self-inverting exhaust muffler is smaller. Therefore, the engine power loss is smaller. Compared with the active exhaust muffler, the electric power loss of self-inverting exhaust muffler is smaller and structure is simpler, so that it can be implemented easily. In this paper, the principle, structure and application of the self-inverting exhaust muffler are discussed. All of these works lay the foundation for further study of the self-inverting exhaust muffler.
