Abstract :
New methods for processing of AVIRIS data are discussed both in terms of feature extraction and classification. The recently proposed decision boundary feature extraction method is discussed and applied in experiments. The classifiers used include neural network methods and statistical approaches. Results of AVIRIS data classifications for geological areas in Iceland are given. The decision boundary feature extraction method shows excellent performance for these data
