Abstract :
A hardware design of a real-time system for point targets detection in infrared image sequences is presented in this report. A high performance parallel process is designed with pipeline modules. In this report, we design this system using a CPLD. In addition the experiment results show that this system detects point targets quickly and correctly in infrared image sequences with low SCR and the system architecture is simple and doesn´t need any memory, so this system can be used in some real time applications.
