  • Abstract
In this paper, the implicit three-dimensional unconditionally stable Crank-Nicolson finite-difference time-domain method (3-D CN-FDTD) is presented. The comparison of numerical simulations of the 3-D CN-FDTD method with other methods show that good agreement is obtained between the data computed with the 3-D CN-FDTD scheme by using time steps twenty exceeding the Courant-Friedrich-Levy (CFL) limit and the data computed with the traditional FDTD schemes. But such results are not obtained with ADI-FDTD. The time-domain waveforms are presented for different time-step size
