  • Abstract
    Performing a complete electromagnetic analysis of modern electronic equipment thus provides a significant computational challenge. Indeed, even in times past when the equipment was considerably simpler than it is today, electromagnetic radiation was never computed from electronic equipment from first principles. The question arises: Can software procedures be developed that meet the challenge of simulating the complexity of modern electronic equipment? And further, is it possible to reverse a historical occurrence and replace measured EMI/EMC compliance data with accurate electromagnetic field simulation? In this work, a new methodology was introduced to compute radiated emissions from real-life electronic equipment starting from first principles
