Abstract :
Techniques have previously been developed to determine the scattering parameters for lines or guides witn a single geometric step discontinuity ([1], [2], [7]). However, for a system with more than one closely spaced discontinuity the field interaction between the discontinuities must be taken into account. A technique outlined below, can in theory handle any number of closely spaced discontinuities.
