  • Abstract
    This paper presents a multidisciplinary study on a new transmission signaling technique that uses polarization-reconfigurable antennas to improve the performance of the well known Alamouti space-time code. The Alamouti code is normally used in transmitting diversity schemes with two transmitting antennas, but it can also be used with two distinct orthogonal polarizations, as shown in this paper
