Abstract

This paper analyses the efficiency of the regional R&D service industry technological innovation activities process from elements input to science and technology (S&T) output and transformation with the data of R&D activity in Chinese provinces from 2000 to 2006 by means of C²R (CCR) model of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) technology. The results show that most of China´s regional R&D service industry run short of efficiency in technological innovation activities, while there exist distinct differences among them. In the whole process of R&D service industry technological innovation activities, the stage of S&T transformation is the obstacle for future development of China´s R&D service industry.
