Abstract :
A pulse network analyzer is described which, when added to an existing CW Analyzer, is capable of pulsed impedance and transmission measurements in time frames as narrow as 250 nanoseconds. The analyzer operates in a swept or fixed frequency mode from 0.5 - 12.5 GHz. Measurement results arepresented on a GaAs, X-Band, IMPATT diode and a multistage, L-Band power amplifier.
