Abstract
This paper investigates a dual-element modified planar inverted F antenna (PIFA) array mounted on the PCB of a mobile handset operating at around 2.45 GHz band. It not only retains the unique features of a conventional PIFA, but also offers low mutual coupling, low correlation coefficient and high diversity gain
