Abstract
This study takes Kanupur Village of the Bogra District, Bangladesh as an example to examine the change in farmers´ markets preference comparing the years between 1996 and 2005. Market preference is influenced greatly by net margins the farmers get from different markets. Compared to 1996, farmers, especially for those who hold more land, prefer selling their goods in the markets in the capital city and other distant cities so that they can get high net margin in 2005.
