Abstract :
Ultra-wideband (UWB) microwave imaging for early breast cancer detection can provide both the necessary imaging resolution and adequate penetration depth in the breast. It is shown that higher resolution can be achieved when the inhomogeneity increases, consequently, more clutter appears and the imaging contrast is reduced.
