Phillip H. Smith, inventor of the well-known Smith chart, died in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, on August 29, 1987, at the age of 82. Numerous biographical articles have already been published about Smith, his life, his chart, and his other achievements. The goal of this biographical article is to help us remember Smith on his 100th birthday.
